Sacred Heart of Mary School – Vitoria – has for more than seventy years focused its education on enabling young people to have fullness of life. The first steps taken in 1944, today, translate into a commitment to the defense of life and academic excellence. Over the years, the school has sought to develop its pedagogical, approach, providing an improved intellectual education, preparing its students for Higher Education and training them for citizenship.
For the past 11 years, Regina Coeli Faustini Baglioli has been the general director of the school.
Today, the school continues to occupy a prominent place in the educational scenario of the state of Espírito Santo, collaborating in the formation of leadership for several sectors of society. The school has an area of 12,409m² with privileged and exclusive access for members of the educational community to the ecological trail and the beach, which enables close interaction with the environment.
The school building has four floors in all, with air-conditioned classrooms, a multimedia room for events and interactive classes and art rooms to explore creativity and imagination. There are science labs that inspire scientific and technological research, computer science labs with interactive screens and internet, a library with reading rooms as well as a diverse collection of academic support rooms, an indoor gymnasium and sports courts and cultural space in the auditorium and cafeteria.
