Marymount is an independent, Catholic all-girls high school that fosters confidence, joy, leadership and a sense of greater purpose in each of our students. Education of the “whole girl” is one of the most important pillars upon which our academic and co-curricular programs are built. We celebrate the individuality in each of our students, empowering them to become their best selves academically, emotionally, spiritually and socially during their four years at Marymount. Through regular student liturgies, Masses, a four-year Theology curriculum, class retreats, and a strong commitment to serving under-represented populations, our girls are transformed into ethical leaders and global advocates throughout their four years at Marymount and beyond.
With over $2 million dollars in financial aid given to students every year, Marymount girls continuously matriculate to highly selective and competitive collegiate institutions both domestically and abroad. To achieve this success, our students benefit from signature programs designed to help them develop three key pieces of their Marymount educational experience: leadership skills, strong foundational knowledge in the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) fields, and the ability to implement a well-rounded, balanced approach to life. Beyond this, students also have access to The Marymount Internship Program, a competitive mentoring program that provides internship experiences to approximately 60% of the eligible student body at some of the city’s top organizations, including UCLA Medical Research Labs, CO Architects, Los Angeles Superior Court, the USC Viterbi School of Engineering and many more.
