The theme of this year’s Saturday Enrichment Programme, run by the SGIC, (Student Goals and Implementation Committee), was ‘Marymount Through the Looking-Glass’ based on Lewis Carroll’s book, ‘Through the Looking-Glass and what Alice found there’. This programme was offered to 31 boys and girls from the local St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School who attended the 10 weeks sessions. The subjects on offer were Design, Mathematics, English and Science – all taught by Marymount students. The visiting students enjoyed the lessons which included time in the Fabrication Laboratory as well as a Christmas Party. A total of 26 Marymount students and 14 staff participated in the first semester of the Saturday Enrichment Programme.
